This is how I feel.

I’ve been thinking and thinking about my first post after our family’s big move to the new house. I want to do a big post soon with lots of pictures, but I wanted to get something out tonight to get the ball rolling.

We are so blessed to have the opportunity to move into a custom-built house on a few acres where we can roam and play. However, the last few weeks have been a bit of an emotional roller coaster with all the changes taking place, and we are downright tired.

In some ways, though, nothing has changed at all. Lukie still toddles and babbles, and Lydia still gets on a kick and won’t let it go. (Last year’s holiday obsession was Frosty. Any guesses what this year’s is?) We are still together, and that is what makes a family more than a house, right?

What a sweet little girl. I am so blessed to get to know her better on Sunday mornings. She is one-of-a-kind.
